Researching Culture And Community

This was a highly successful 5 week course held at the ADAB Centre and was delivered by our partners WEA.

The course involved using researching, networking and communications skills to look at the community that we live and overcome barriers or problems the group may face.

The learners on the course were very excited and motivated by the course and were able to identify and challenge percieved barriers to being able to community participation.

The Course culminated with the learners taking part in an activity day at Burrs Country Park on a wet and windy day but everyone survived!!

They took part in the following team building and competitive activities such as problem solving, tackling a low rope course, archery and kayaking.
