Welcome to ADAB.....

ADAB is a community organisation which aims to develop and implement initiatives that will improve and enhance the economic, educational, social, cultural and recreational needs of all the communities. ADAB’s services are targeted at all residents particularly those who are disadvantaged. Community cohesion and integration is a central key component of all our services.

ADAB currently operates from three different venues purposely situated in some of the most deprived areas within Bury.

ADAB has been in existence since 1997 and has undertaken a range of initiatives to achieve its objectives. At the beginning much of its work was undertaken by volunteers and although volunteers still remain an integral part of the organisation, ADAB has been able to secure external funding to develop and implement a range of projects over the last 8 years.

ADAB has been an active partner with Government Departments, Local Authorities and other statutory, voluntary and community agencies/ organisations in contributing to the development of communities at local, regional, national and international levels.

ADAB’s key strategic objectives and priorities reflects its ambitions to play a positive and responsive role in meeting the needs  and improving the quality of life of some of the most deprived/ marginalised communities throughout the world
