Improving Learning, Skills & Employability

Improving learning, skills and employability is a key objective for ADAB, especially for minority communities who face multiple challenges.

We aim to empower people, enhance and improve their skills, build their confidence & self-esteem through a wide range of services and activities, provided in a culturally sensitive, safe and welcoming place.

Many of our classes and activities are bi-lingual as most of our service users are from minority communities. For example, ESOL classes, digital skills, self-care & wellbeing, arts & crafts, social support groups, South Asian music and many others. We offer an individual needs assessment including language and cultural needs so we can support you through your journey.

We offer training on issues such as Preventing Extremism, Cultural awareness and Understanding Muslim communities.
