Community Mental Health Practitioner 
£16.50 per hour
10 hours per week

ADAB provide mental health support for South Asian and minority communities. This role will be responsible for providing range of practical and emotional support particularly counselling and confidential psychological therapy service Key aspect of the role will be to develop referral pathways and offer 1-2-1 solution focused psychosocial support.

1. Provide mental health counselling and emotional well being support to clients in line with assessed need and outcomes of regular reviews,
2. Provide weekly counselling and confidential psychological therapy service.
3. Provide 1-2-1 support of up to 8 sessions on face to face basis.

Volunteer / Trainee Counsellor
2 – 3 hours per week

Working in a confidential setting counsellors provide nondirective support to clients in exploring feelings, anxieties and life events that impact on their emotional wellbeing.

Provide weekly counselling and confidential psychological therapy service.  

1. To provide individual nondirective counselling to clients effected by mental health issues using a recognised theoretical model  – Person Centred Approach and Integrative Model.
2. To carry a caseload  for 1-2-1 sessions.
